Street PCR test site to open as latest figures show fall in coronavirus positive numbers

A PCR coronavirus test site will be opening in the overflow car park next to Strode College Sports Centre from 29 July.

That is the test you need to check if you get a lateral flow test which shows a positive result, and also the test you need for travelling.

The test site organisers have said to Nub News to stress that the testing is is not being managed by Strode College so please do not come into the college reception.

Meantime, according to the latest government data, from July 25, the numbers testing positive for coronavirus across Mendip have fallen by 9.9%.
