Over the past year many of us have found ourselves with more time on our hands and have been looking for new challenges to keep healthy and active.

Four Walton residents have taken this idea to the next level and have set themselves extraordinary endurance feats.

Matt Nelson is currently training for his first full ironman triathlon which will take place in Nottingham at the end of July.

This will entail around 12 hours on the move starting with a 2.4-mile lake swim in a wetsuit then straight onto a 112-mile bike ride followed by full marathon. If you see him training around the village, give him a cheer!
