There are traffic delays on the A39 through Walton this evening (November 9) following a crash.

The crash is reported to have happened near to the Royal Oak on Main Street, and traffic is reported to be queuing in both directions along the A39.

According to satellite tracking cameras, the queues stretch back to Westway in Street beyond the roundabout outside of McDonald's in one direction, and beyond the junction with Bramble Hill in Walton heading towards Ashcott.

Motorists are being advised to find an alternative route if possible.
