The recent coronavirus outbreak has caused considerable upheaval across all aspects of life, particularly the way we work and learn.
Concerns around social distancing and increasing unemployment have led adult learners to seek flexible professional courses with an online study element.
That is why Strode College in Street is working in partnership with Mindful Education, to deliver online and on campus courses in accounting.
These award-winning courses combine the flexibility of online learning with the benefits of tutor-led classroom sessions, allowing students to fit their studies around work and life commitments.
Online, video lectures are accompanied by motion graphics, animation, and interactive quizzes to help embed learning.
Lessons are around 45 minutes long and can be accessed from any device, giving students the option to choose how, where and when they want to study.
Students also enjoy the benefits of regular college classes, where their learning is supported through group exercises and classroom-based learning with an experienced tutor.
Due to the nature of the online and on campus courses, with key concepts being taught online through video lectures, students are able to continue their studies with social distancing in place.
Regular on campus lessons are mixed with remote virtual classroom sessions led by college tutors. This approach can be easily adapted to suit government guidance and college policies.
