The Strode College Essential Digital Skills Centre in Street will be acting as a Census Support Centre for Census 2021, the 10-year population survey taking place on Sunday March 21.
The 2021 census is the first UK census people are being asked to complete online if they can.
Support in completing the census is being offered to any local people lacking confidence in using the internet, or who are without a home internet connection.
One-to-one support will be provided via the telephone or pre-booked face-to-face appointments where these can be conducted safely.
Nadine Norman, Essential Digital Skills Manager, said: "There are more than nine million people in the UK who are 'digitally excluded', lacking either the skills or technology necessary for using online resources.
"Providing support for Census 2021 is a natural extension of our work delivering free courses to local people needing help in taking advantage of the many opportunities offered by the internet."
The census provides a snapshot of the people and households in England and Wales.
Answers from the survey are used to inform vital decisions about local services, such as education and healthcare. It is a legal requirement to complete the census.
Anyone wanting support completing their census can call the Essential Digital Skills Centre on 01458 844480 or email [email protected] to ask for help from a census advisor.
