Temporary traffic lights are scheduled to be in place on the B3151 Glaston Road in Street next week.

The lights are set to be used from Monday (September 21) to Thursday (September 24) outside of Wing's Kitchen and Street Baptist Church.

They are due to be there to enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer rehabilitation works in the area.

Temporary traffic lights are also scheduled to be used in Brooks Road on the same days for similar Wessex Water work.

Other roadworks scheduled to take place in Street next week include:

On Monday, Bristol Water is due to be doing works in Middle Brooks, and on Wednesday (September 23) Somerset Highways are set to be removing a sign post and installing a feeder pillar at the junction of the B3151 Somerton Road and Butleigh Road.

From Thursday to September 28, Wales and West Utilities are set to be laying a new service in Silver Road.

Finally, the permit for scaffolding outside on the Lantokay in the High Street is scheduled to run out on Monday.
