The lights are scheduled to be in place from Tuesday (November 3) in Street Road, near to Compton Dundon Garage.

They are set to be used to enable Western Power Distribution to do underground cabling work for a new supply.

Other roadworks in the Street area that are due to take place this week before the lockdown starts include:

Bristol Water's work to repair a leak in Ash Road, Street, is scheduled to be completed on Monday (November 2).

Similar work on a service pipe by the company on the A39 at Quarry Batch, Street, is set to finish on Tuesday.

Also ending on Tuesday should be BT's work on joining equipment that has been damaged by a lorry in Sharpham Drove.
