Temporary traffic lights are planned to be used on the B3151 in Compton Dundon for roadworks before Christmas.

The lights are scheduled to be used from Monday (December 21) to Wednesday (December 23) on Street Road between the Marshall's Elm Crossroads and the junction with Compton Street.

They are due to be in place to enable BT to replace a jointbox frame and cover in the area.

Other roadworks set to take place in the Street area next week include:

On Tuesday (December 22), stop and go traffic control is scheduled to be used on the A39 Chilton Polden Hill, near Edington, to enable Truespeed to span a cable across the road.

Temporary traffic lights are due to be used in Butleigh High Street until Tuesday, so BT can replace a jointbox frame and cover.

Finally, the permit for scaffolding at 190 High Street, in Street, is set to continue until January 1.
