Does your child enjoy swimming? Do you want them to improve their ability, keep fit, and make new friends? Build their confidence by competing? Then consider joining Street and District Swimming Club.

The club has an experienced and well qualified coaching team and welcomes swimmers of all abilities from entry level up to regional and national competitors.

Street and District Swimming Club currently have spaces at all levels in the club to offer swimmers who would like to join.

Club swimmers range from six years old upwards and squads are based on ability rather than age.

Entry level swimmers need to be able to comfortably swim some lengths (but not necessarily have good technique yet).

Street and District Swimming Club are a friendly and inclusive club which has been part of the local community since 1976.

There are approximately 110 swimmers who train regularly and some of the coaches even swam with the club when it first started.

It is a competitive club but aim to develop all swimmers' confidence and skills in the water, regardless of ability.

Club swimming offers children the opportunity to keep fit and active in a safe environment and to make new friends. Swimming is also a vital life preserving skill.

Street and District swim at Strode Leisure Centre and Millfield Pool, both in Street. If you would like to find out more or book a trial session then get in contact, via email at [email protected].
