Support Worker - Street

We are looking for Support Workers for our new development, Apple Tree Court in Street. Apple Tree Court enables people with learning disabilities to have greater independence and to live the life they choose.

The development has 18 individual supported flats and bungalows, with state of the art assisted technology, in a lovely cul-de-sac within the community of Street.

It's a flagship development for us, and paves the way for our future plans, it's new and it's different, and we're putting together a great team to support it.

The people you'll be supporting range from those with complex physical support needs and learning disabilities, through to those that are more independent and self-sufficient. We will work with you to match your skills to those we support.

Most will need support with daily living tasks - cooking, cleaning, activities, personal care, medication and looking after their health.

Families and friends play a big part in their lives so we also require support with maintaining those relationships.

Surfacing Supervisor - Street

Are you a Surfacing Supervisor with extensive experience? Are you experienced in car parks, housing estate spine roads, and highways maintenance works?

This role will be working around the South west area.

Surfacing Agent with strong roads and surfacing background required for supervision of blacktop gangs.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supervision of surfacing crews and working on large highways contracts.

This will be a long term role. It will involve organisation, planning and managing contracts.

Duties to include:

• Management on site including inductions, toolbox talks and similar
• Management of Health and Safety on site
• Materials ordering and control of site labour and contractors
• Management of subcontractors
• Controlling site budgets and ensuring profit on all schemes
• Control of site deadlines and handovers
• Some client liaison where appropriate

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced blacktop supervisor to get in with a professional firm and work under safe conditions with hardworking gangs.

We are currently recruiting for Order Picker roles, for a well known footwear retailer, based in Street.

As a Order Picker you will be working in a modern and clean warehouse environment.

We have a number of vacancies across different departments. Duties may include but not limited to sorting, picking and packing.
