Free range poultry unit access at Lottisham is given the green light

New tracks to serve a recently approved free range poultry unit in Lottisham have been given the go ahead by Mendip District Council planners.
The planning application for the creation of a new vehicular access to agricultural buildings (part retrospective) on land at Lottisham Lane, Lottisham, was made by Mrs D Board.
Planning permission was recently approved for free range egg laying poultry buildings and an agricultural workers dwelling, which included an access on to the highway, at Lower Farm in Lottisham.
The new approval gives planning permission for engineering works to provide a new track to connect the new highway entrance to the recently approved poultry unit and other farm buildings already on the wider site.
The application was part retrospective as the initial surface has already been laid to assist construction vehicles accessing the poultry unit.
One other planning application in the Street area has been approved this week by Mendip District Council.
Plans to demolish an existing porch and replace with a new porch at Old South View, Castle Cary Road, Lydford-on-Fosse, by Mr John Mullins have been approved.

An application for approval of details reserved by conditions 4 (ventilation system), on planning consent 2018/2640/FUL at The Village Store, Church Lane, Baltonsborough, has been made by Mrs Naomi Giaretta.
