Street roadworks for week commencing August 3

Temporary traffic lights are planned at the junction of the B3151 Somerton Road and Portway in Street this week.

The multi-way lights are scheduled to be used from 9.30am to 12.30pm on Friday (August 7).

They are due to be in place to enable Western Power Distribution to undertake reconductoring works.

Other roadworks scheduled to take place in Street this week include:

A month-long scaffolding permit is due to begin at 26 High Street on Tuesday (August 4).

On Wednesday (August 5), Bristol Water is set to be replacing a meter on the B3151 Somerton Road.

Western Power Distribution's urgent work to repair a streetlight cable fault in Westway next to the Street Roundabout is scheduled to be completed by Wednesday.

Finally, from Wednesday to August 14, BT are due to be installing a poly duct and repairing a cabinet in Stone Hill.
