Welcome to our Hospitality Heroes series on Street Nub News.

We will be providing you with a profile of a number of fantastic hospitality venues ahead of their reopening in April and May.

The industry has been hit particularly hard with pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and accommodation only open for four out of the last 12 months.

Today here is everything you need to know about the Grape and Grain Brasserie.

Situated on Street High Street, the Grape and Grain Brasserie is run by Trish and Dan Adams, and while they have been busy during lockdown offering takeaway, they are looking forward to reopening the restaurant next month.

Trish told Street Nub News: "At Grape and Grain Brasserie we have been working hard to bring the local community a variety of takeaway dishes over lockdown, opening on Friday and Saturday evenings with a new menu published weekly on the Thursday before.

"We are incredibly excited to welcome everyone back into the restaurant on May 17 and will also continue to run our takeaway services.

"Our burgers have been incredibly popular throughout lockdown so we plan to keep a section of our menu dedicated to everyone's favourites to run alongside our usual main course dishes.

"Once open we will continue to implement all strict Covid regulations to ensure our customers' safety.

"We will also continue to offer the upper level of the restaurant to be pre-booked privately for those that are still having to shield at no extra cost during the week and subject to government guidelines regarding table sizes.

"We have been overwhelmed by the support the community has given us over our first year of trading and feel incredibly grateful to still be able to continue bringing everyone our take on some delicious dishes."
