Wanted man Joshua Dalgarno, from Street, is behind bars after a member of the public who saw the appeal to find him, contacted the police to let them know where he was.

The 25-year-old was arrested in Weymouth and is now beginning a three-year prison term having had his original community sentence for controlling and coercive behaviour increased by the Court of Appeal.

A police spokesperson said: "We'd like to thank the member of the public for contacting us as well as all those who publicised our appeal."
