Street roadworks for week commencing March 9

There will be temporary traffic lights in Cranhill Road, Street, next week.

The lights will be in place from Tuesday March 10 to Thursday March 12 to enable Bristol Water to replace a leaking service main.

Other roadworks in Street this week include:

Hindhayes Lane is scheduled to reopen on Friday March 13, following gas main upgrade works by Wales and West Utilities.

The multi-way temporary traffic lights at the junction of Silver Road, Leigh Road and Merriman Road are scheduled to remain in place until early April for Wales and West Utilities to replace a metallic gas main with a plastic one.

Wales and West Utilities will also be working Brooks Road on Tuesday and Wednesday March 11.

From Wednesday to Friday, Bristol Water will be replacing stoptaps in Chichester Road and Ivythorn Road.

Finally, Wales and West Utilities will be laying a new service in Portland Road from Thursday to March 17.
