Street roadworks for week commencing February 3

There will be roadworks on the A39 on the edge of Street next week.

From Tuesday February 4 to Thursday February 6 there will be stop and go traffic control on the A39 at Quarry Batch to enable a streetlight to be replaced.

Other roadworks in Street this week include:

Hindhayes Lane is scheduled to remain closed until March 13 to enable Wales and West Utilities to replace a metallic gas main with a plastic one.

Bristol Water's work to repair a leak in Green Lane Avenue is scheduled to be completed by Tuesday.

Also finishing by the end of Tuesday should be the work to replace a streetlight on the B3151 Somerton Road.

Finally, the Wales and West Utilities work to install a new connection in Portland Road should be finished by the end of Wednesday February 5.
