Street High Street has been closed to traffic to enable social distancing and safer reopening of the shops, banks and cafes.

Residents and businesses are encouraged to have their say on the success or otherwise of this initiative on this website.

It's important that Somerset County Council, Mendip District Council and Street Parish Council have an opportunity to know the views of both traders and residents as they can consider a review of the measures.
