Temporary traffic lights are set to be used instead of the main signals on the A39 Westway in Street on two occasions this week.

Multi-way temporary lights are scheduled to be used at the junction with the Clarks Village car park on Monday (September 7) between 6.30pm and midnight, and at the junction with Farm Road during the same times on Thursday (September 10).

The lights are due to be used to enable Somerset Highways to replace poles at the junctions.

Other roadworks scheduled to take place in the Street area this week include:

A permit for scaffolding at the Lantokay in Street High Street is set to be in place from Tuesday (September 8) until September 22.

Peak Lane in Compton Dundon is scheduled to remain closed until Monday to enable Wessex Water to carry out new connections works.

Finally, the temporary traffic lights on the A361 at Greylake are due to remain in place until September 15, while Wessex Water work on new connections.
