Street area roadworks for week commencing December 14

Temporary traffic lights are planned on the A39 near Catcott next week for roadworks.

The lights are scheduled to be in place on Tuesday (December 15) on the A39 Bath Road/Chilton Polden Hill between the junction with Scotts Lane and the crossroads where Holy Well Road and Moor Road meet the A39.

They are due to be used to enable Wessex Water to install a new connection in the area.

Other roadworks in the Street area that are set to take place next week include:

Between 9.30am and 3.30pm from Monday (December 14) to Friday (December 18), Brook Lane in Catcott is scheduled to be closed to enable Sunbelt Rentals, on behalf of BT Openreach, to carry out pole replacement works.

The temporary traffic lights at the junction of Green Lane and Ivythorn Road/Overleigh, in Street, for BT to install polyducts are due to remain in place until Wednesday (December 16),

The work by Wales and West Utilities to lay a new gas service in Glanvill Road, Street, is set to continue until Monday, while the similar work in Leigh Furlong Road is scheduled to be completed on Tuesday.
