Ham Lane in Compton Dundon is scheduled to be closed for roadworks this week.

The road is due to be shut from beyond the village hall to the junction with Hayes Road and Hurst Drove from Monday (August 24) to Friday (August 28).

The closure is set to take place to enable Wessex Water to carry out new connection works in the area.

Also in Compton Dundon, the temporary traffic lights on the B3151 Street Road to enable BT to install poly ducts in the road, are scheduled to be in place until Wednesday (August 26).

Other roadworks in the Street area scheduled to take place this week include:

The multi-way temporary traffic lights on the A39 through Ashcott, at the crossroads with Pedwell Lane and The Batch for BT to build or repair a cabinet, are set to be removed on Monday.

BT's work to build jointing chambers in Burley Gardens, Street, is due to be completed on Wednesday.

Finally, the month-long permit for scaffolding outside of In Harmony in Street High Street is scheduled to run out on Wednesday.
