Plans submitted for six new homes to be built in Walton

A planning application has been submitted to Mendip District Council to build six new homes in Walton.
The application for outline planning permission for the erection of six dwellings with all matters reserved except access on land at Main Street, Walton, has been submitted by Adam Rizzuti.
The proposal is to build one two-bedroom home, three three-bedroom homes and two four-bedroom homes with a total of 17 parking spaces on land near to the junction of the A39 and Bramble Hill.
Other planning applications submitted in the Street area to Mendip District Council this week include:
Replace existing cycle racks with 10 new stainless steel tubular racks at Greenbank Swimming Pool, Wilfrid Road, Street, is wanted by Mr Mark Sandiford.
Erection of single storey rear extension at 1 Gilberts Corner, Burnetts Lane, Baltonsborough, has been applied for by Mr and Mrs Swayne.
Application for outline planning permission with some matters reserved for the construction of five dwellings and associated vehicular access with details of access and layout on land at Church Lane, East Lydford, has been made by Mrs J Townley, Mrs Emma Bryant and Mrs Nicola Bryant.
Proposed garage and workshop/storage at 60 West End, Street, is wanted by Mr Chris Jones.
Planning applications in the Street area that have been decided this week by Mendip District Council include:
Two storey extension to library at Millfield School, Butleigh Road, Street, by Mr Neil Chapillon has been approved, as has the erection of a day house.
Heavy duty vinyl with metal ring banners to be displayed from lampposts at 6 Leigh Road, Street, by Mrs Jenny Marshfield has been approved.
Application for a lawful development certificate for the proposed removal of existing mobile toilet block and the erection of a permanent WC block at Brookside County Primary School, Brooks Road, Street, by Mrs Marie Cornish has been approved.
Front extension to garage at 17 Oakfield Road, Street, by Mr Ben Brown has been approved.
