Planning application submitted for major expansion to home in Meare

A planning application has been submitted to Mendip District Council for a major extension to a house in Meare.

The application for a proposed first floor extension to a single-storey home, including single and two-storey rear extensions, and oak framed entrance porch to the front elevation at Kelston, 13 Glastonbury Road, Meare, has been made by Mr and Mrs T Foster.

Planning applications that have been decided this week in the Street area by Mendip District Council include:

Approval of details reserved by condition 5 (surface water drainage system) on planning consent 2019/2862/HSE at Mon Abri, Middle Brooks, Street, by Mr and Mrs Richman has been given.

Single storey extension to rear of 48 Elmhurst Lane, Street, by Ms Louise Costigan has been approved.

Change of use of land to form an extension to the garden at Batch Brooke, Muchelney Road, Baltonsborough, by Mr and Mrs Purcell and Mrs Williams has been approved.
