Fusion Lifestyle, the charity that operates leisure facilities in the Mendip area, has announced its seasonal offering to help keep Street residents active this Christmas - including a new online service and a free gym pass for all.

With keeping healthy now more important than ever, Fusion is encouraging all residents to try out their facilities and claim their free gym pass, which is available from now through to Monday January 4 2021.

To claim your pass, simply head to www.fusion-lifestyle.com/gympass select your preferred centre and enter the promo code GYMPASS.

Visits will need to be booked via the Fusion Lifestyle app to ensure all centres can continue to operate in line with government guidelines.

Centre users will be asked to arrive in their usual fitness gear, to streamline the contact process and keep customers safe.

Leisure centres in Frome and in Wells, Strode Pool and Fitness, and Tor Leisure Centre will open throughout the holidays, apart from four days (December 25 to 27 and January 1).

However, their recently launched online offer means that you can stay active any time, any day, should you feel the urge to exercise.

In addition to the centre programmes on offer this season, members now have access to a range of online classes through Fusion at Home on demand.

There's something for everyone, from more advanced cardio classes like HIIT and Freestyle Combat through to the accessible Mature Stretch and Yoga for All.

There's even a Gentle Postural Fitness class, perfect for home workers bent over their laptops all day.

The new Fusion at Home online platform offers members even more support in the form of mental wellbeing activities too, plus there's nutrition guides and special offers from fitness providers including Les Mills, MyZone, Power Plate, Physical Company and Octane Fitness.

These can be enjoyed at any time, with more than 16,000 customers across the business having already accessed these activities.

Anthony Cawley, director of operations at Fusion Lifestyle, said: "There has never been a more important time to look after the health and wellbeing of our communities and we want to make sure our members and local residents have the opportunity to benefit from our expert led classes.

"The offers and additional activities we are supplying to our members will help them keep active both physically and mentally.

"Seasonal hours will apply across the Christmas and new year week, but you can always access us online, ensuring we are always with you on your journey to health, fitness and mental wellbeing."
