We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operative roles, for a well known footwear retailer, based in Street.

As a Warehouse Operative you will be working in a modern and clean warehouse environment.

We have a number of vacancies across different departments. Duties may include but not limited to sorting, picking and packing.

As a Warehouse Operative you will need to have:

  • Communicative English
  • Flexibility regarding shifts

Details:

  • Available fixed shifts Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm
  • Immediate starts

Labourer - Street

Your new job as a Labourer will involve assisting with the day to day running of the site. This could involve assisting trades persons with the movement of materials within the site as well as cleaning and ensuring general tidiness is maintained.

You may be asked to perform several semi-skilled roles such a foaming, sealing and small snagging tasks.

What you need to succeed in your new job:

In order to succeed in your job as a Labourer you will need to be comfortable in undertaking manual work.

You'll need to have excellent attention to detail, awareness of health and safety procedures, and have knowledge of different building materials.

You will need:

  • CSCS
  • Hi-vis
  • Hard hat
  • Steel toe capped boots

What you'll get in return:

In return for undertaking your job as a Labourer you will receive a competitive hourly rate of pay, a decent contract length and if your contract doesn't extend, then Hays will look to secure your next placement upon receipt of a positive finishing reference.

Book-keeper - Street

A well-established firm in Street is looking to recruit an experienced book-keeper into their team due to recent expansion.

Within this role you will be expected to deal with multiple clients, work up to trial balance, along with VAT returns. A knowledge of Xero book-keeping software would be ideal, but not essential.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working as a book-keeper, ideally within a practice environment, but this is not essential. You will ideally be AAT qualified or equivalent and will be a confident book-keeper.

Job specifics:

Permanent, full-time. Salary £20,000 to £30,000 per annum.
