Personal Home Carer - Street
At Newcross, we believe everyone deserves the right to receive care in their own home. Do you?
We're actively seeking experienced Female Care Assistants to join our team, encouraging our service users to live a rich, independent life.
In this role, you'll work as part of a close-knit, collaborative team of health and social care professionals, delivering care in the home.
Without support from people like you, these individuals may live a life in specialist units or hospitals, rather than in their own home. This role is a chance to make a real difference in people's lives.
Your duties will vary, including assisting service users with their food and drink, PEG care, clinical need, following care plans and getting them involved in social activities. You'll work as part of a small health and social care team in the homes of our clients.
The various shifts for this role include sleep-in shifts, 24-hour shifts and eight hours of sleep shifts.
Get Flexi Pay:
Finish a shift, and you can instantly receive an advance of up to 50 per cent of the value of your existing shifts.
All managed via our handy app, HealthForceGo, when you submit your timesheets (includes weekends and bank holidays).
Perks of the job:
- Get paid as soon as you finish a shift with instant Flexi Pay
- Fixed hours on a rota basis
- Free DBS and uniform
- Access to NHS registered GPs and mental health support with virtual appointments
- Free, ongoing clinical training
Do you meet the criteria?
To apply for this rewarding role, you will need to have a minimum of three months of prior experience in a professional care setting or caring for a loved one.
This will ensure you have an emotional and clinical understanding of what it takes to deliver home care.
You may need to assist clients with limited mobility. However, if you do not have a valid Moving and Handling certificate, we can provide relevant training modules for you to complete in the induction process.
Access to your own vehicle is desirable but not required, and the right to work in the UK is essential.
