Street tattoo studio Jacks Tattoos has reopened for business with a range of health and safety measures in place to protect both clients and artists.

The popular High Street business, run by Jack Spencer, caters for a wide range of tastes from tribal to tradition, Celtic to custom designs.

Jack said: "We really are looking forward to seeing you all again.

"We have taken all precautions for the Covid-19 risk."

Clients need to pre-book appointments by telephoning the studio or sending a Facebook message.

They should attend the appointment alone and on time to avoid overcrowding and to limit contact.

On arrival clients must wait outside the double doors, adhering to social distancing guidelines, where their chosen tattoo artist will meet and greet them.

A sanitising station has been installed for clients and they must wear a mask inside the studio. Anyone arriving without a mask can buy one for a small fee.

Clients feeling unwell prior to their appointment need to contact the studio as soon as possible to rearrange a new date.

Jack said: "We are in the process of rebooking all of our customers, but it is proving a lengthy process so please bear with us.

"Your patience is greatly appreciated."
