Cyclist taken to hospital after collision with car in Street

A cyclist was taken to hospital following a collision with a car in Street High Street this morning (June 11).

Both police and paramedics attended after the collision between a car and a bike at about 8.30am this morning in the High Street, at the crossroads with Farm Road and Leigh Road.

The cyclist has been taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police officers had cleared the scene and resumed patrols by about 9.40am.
