Students from Crispin School in Street will be performing Sister Act at the village's Strode Theatre at the end of the month.

The pupils will be performing their school production on Thursday January 30, Friday January 31 and Saturday February 1, with all performances starting at 7.30pm.

Directed by Claire Baumgardt, the choreography is by Joanne Cowper, and the musical director is Joanne Turner.

The story follows disco diva Deloris, who witnesses a murder and is put in protective custody in the one place the cops are sure she won't be found - a convent.

Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior. Eventually she inspires the choir and breathes new life into the church and community, but this blows her cover and the gang gives chase.

This musical is filled with powerful gospel music, outrageous dancing, and an amazing story.

Tickets, priced at £11, are available via the red button below.
