Clarks Village has unveiled its newly-redeveloped landscaped central gardens as summer approaches at the Street shopping outlet.

The Central Square Gardens have been re-landscaped to create a green, vibrant and relaxing haven in the heart of the centre.

The redevelopment within the large gardens includes new landscaping, trees, plants and shrubs as well as a terrace, new pathways, a wider paved area and atmospheric lights encircling the gardens and trees as well as new seating for guests to take a relaxing break and enjoy the outdoor shopping experience.

Work has been ongoing within the gardens since October but as the new greenery and flowers have bedded in and blossomed, Clarks Village has now unveiled the completed project.

Chris Davis, centre director at Clarks Village which is home to more than 90 designer brands and high street stores offering discounts of up to 60 per cent, said: "At Clarks Village, we continue to offer visitors something a little bit different and our newly-redeveloped Central Square Gardens do just that.

"The gardens are unique to the Clarks Village experience giving guests the chance to relax, eat or simply soak up some sunshine while they're taking a break from hitting the shops."

The Central Square Gardens are part of other major developments that have seen toilet blocks recently redeveloped, the introduction of new "Districts" to help guests navigate and find their way through the village.
