There are traffic delays on the A39 near Shapwick this afternoon (February 26) following a crash which has partially blocked the road.

The crash happened at around 1.15pm this afternoon, and the road is partially blocked in Loxley Wood, close to the junction with Wood Lane.

According to satellite traffic cameras, there are traffic hold-ups in the area caused by the crash, and motorists are being advised to find an alternative route.

The cameras show traffic queues back to the Holy Well Road junction heading into Edington on the Bridgwater side, and back to the Ridgeway Lane junction in the Street direction.
