The Street Community Support Group was recently contacted by Gaetan Boyer of Pizza and Puppets, with the idea of a Pizza Night for families to enjoy at home, because he wanted to give something back to the community.

On Thursday night at the Salvation Army on Goswell Road, a collaboration between the Street Community Support Group, Pizza and Puppets, and Hindhayes and Elmhurst schools saw a great team effort in creating 90 pizzas for 40 families, displaying social distancing practice at its best.

The families, who were identified by the Parent and Families Support Advisor of the schools, had the pizzas delivered by volunteers including teachers from Hindhayes and Elmhurst, along with bags of fruit, vegetables and Easter eggs.
