The most outstanding individuals and institutions that the Further Education (FE) sector has to offer have been recognised in the shortlist for the 2020 Tes FE Awards.

It's been revealed that Strode College in Street has been shortlisted for the FE College of the Year award.

Tes FE editor Stephen Exley said: "Excellent practice exists right across the Further Education sector, and those shortlisted for the Tes FE Awards are the cream of the crop.

"Our judges were extremely impressed with the calibre of entries. To be shortlisted is an extraordinary achievement."

Katy Quinn, principal of Strode College, said: "I am absolutely delighted that Strode has made it to the shortlist for FE College of the Year 2020.

"The submission focused on the breadth and quality of our offer, the impact we have on our local community and future lives of our students.

"It is recognition of the outstanding commitment and passion from a brilliant team of staff at Strode. I'm looking forward to March 20 in London."

The winners will be revealed at a gala awards evening at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London, on Friday March 20.
