There will be temporary traffic lights in Street High Street for BT work next week.

The multi-way lights will be at the junction of the High Street with Vestry Road and Orchard Road from Friday January 10 to January 14.

They will be in place to enable BT to install six metres of duct in the pavement and an eight-metre duct in the road.

Multi-way temporary traffic lights will also be in place where the High Street meets Leigh Road and Farm Road for a month from Monday January 6, so Wales and West Utilities can replace a gas main.

Other roadworks in Street next week include:

From Monday to Friday, Bristol Water will be installing a new connection in Vestry Road.

On Tuesday January 7, Western Power Distribution will be switching a service between poles in Green Lane.

From Wednesday January 8 to Friday, Bristol Water will be installing talbot boxes and meters in Strode Road and Goss Drive.

Finally, from Friday to January 14, Bristol Water will be installing a new water supply in Brooks Road.
