Street roadworks for week commencing January 20

A lane of the A39 Westway in Street will be closed for roadworks for three days next week.

The lane will be closed from Tuesday January 21 to Thursday January 23 to enable a damaged sign post to be replaced.

Other roadworks in Street next week include:

The temporary traffic lights at the junction of Leigh Road, Hindhayes Lane and Vestry Road for Wales and West Utilities work should be removed by Tuesday.

However, the other set of temporary traffic lights at the junction of Leigh Road and the High Street, for Wales and West Utilities to replace a metallic gas main with a plastic pipe, are scheduled to remain in place until February 7.

From Monday January 20 to Wednesday January 22, Bristol Water will be repairing leaks in Seymour Road and Burleigh Lane.

Western Power Distribution will be undertaking reinforcement works in Farm Road from Monday to January 29.

From Tuesday to Tuesday, Bristol Water will be repairing a leak in Russett Road.

Wales and West Utilities will be excavating to carry out a camera survey of a metallic gas main in Hindhayes Lane from Wednesday to Friday January 24.

From Friday to January 28, Bristol Water will be installing a new supply in Brooks Road.

BT's work to install ducts in Goss Drive should be completed by Tuesday, as should Bristol Water's work to fix a leak in Green Lane Avenue.

The work by Wales and West Utilities to complete a connection in Portway is scheduled to be finished by Wednesday.

Finally, the Wales and West Utilities work to replace a metallic gas main with a plastic pipe is scheduled to be finished by Friday.
