There are scheduled to be temporary traffic lights on the B3151 between Street and Compton Dundon next week.

The lights are due to be used from Tuesday (June 30) through to Thursday (July 2) for BT to access its underground networks.

They should be using two-way rolling lights with off-peak working only from the Marshalls Elm Crossroads through to the junction with Compton Street in Compton Dundon.

Other roadworks scheduled for next week in the Street area include:

From Monday (June 29) to Wednesday (July 1), Somerset Highways are scheduled to be replacing a sign post in Brooks Road.

From Tuesday to Thursday, Somerset Highways are also due to be undertaking a drainage inspection in Elmhurst Lane.

On the same days, the Gas Transportation Co is scheduled to be laying a new main in Mildred Road, Walton.

Finally, Western Power Distribution's emergency work to repair a cable fault in Clockhouse View is due to be finished by Wednesday.
