A restaurant in Street is to start offering a delivery service to go alongside takeaways, as it looks to combat the challenges of the coronavirus lockdown.

The Grape and Grain Brasserie will be open tomorrow (January 8) and Saturday (January 9) from 5pm to 9pm for delivery or collection and it has launched a new menu for these days.

Deliveries will be available for customers in Street, all payments for delivery must be cash only and a £1 delivery charge will apply to all orders.

The restaurant is also highly recommending pre-booking your time slot and food as early as possible as the venue won't hold as much stock as last time unless demand calls for it.

To book you can simply send the restaurant a private message via Facebook, though please check the team reply to you, or give them a call on 01458 840950.

If no pre-orders are received the team will decide to close that night in order to keep running costs as low as possible over lockdown.

Pick up takeaways can still pay with card, and all drinks are being offered at 35 per cent off.

All wine is by the bottle only. Due to new lockdown laws for takeaway venues, alcohol can only be sold if pre-ordered.
