The team behind the modernisation of two outdoor spaces at Clarks Village in Street have revealed their proposed layouts.

A planning application for public realm works including hard and soft landscaping, and installation of seating, planters, waste bins, lighting and associated street furniture has been submitted to Mendip District Council by the shopping centre.

The images supplied to Street Nub News by Clarks Village are the proposed new layouts of the Central Square area and Timberland Square.

Chris Davis, centre director at Clarks Village, said: “We aim to provide the best guest experience we can and our plans are to enhance two key locations within Clarks Village, the central area near Calvin Klein and Timberland Square.

"The plans include improvements for guests such as additional seating, outdoor furniture and landscaping while providing improved access to our brand partners.

"As well as enhancing the centre’s facade and guest experience, it is a timely opportunity for us to make changes that suit current social distancing guidelines.”
