The Elmhurst School Association (ESA) in Street usually holds its annual Elmfest in the summer term - a fun family celebration and also its biggest fundraiser of the year.

Sadly, as with all events, Elmfest 2020 is not to be so the ESA has decided to hold a virtual balloon race instead.

The balloons will be "released" at noon on Friday July 10 and will "move" a random distance every hour until the race ends at noon on Friday July 17.

The three balloons that have "travelled" the furthest at the end of the race will win the following prizes:

1st place - Bluefin Hover Shoes

3rd place - A delicious afternoon tea for two delivered to your door

As it is a virtual race you can follow the progress of your balloon online and there is no danger to wildlife.
