Today (May 8) marks the 75th anniversary for VE Day, where peace was declared in Europe after the Second World War.

There have been a number of celebrations in Street today, observing social distancing of course, with street parties and bunting being the order of the day.

Here are some photos of the decorations made by five-year-old Isla Norman, who helped her family create the VE Day window and decorate her great-granny's bungalow.

If you have been celebrating today, please email your photos to [email protected] and we can add them to this article.
